The buffet breakfast was delicious, and I enjoyed it while taking in the stunning scenery. Four Seasons Resort Bali At Jimbaran Bay

Award for best 5-star Bali Resort: Four Seasons Resort Bali At Jimbaran Bay

As soon as I stepped into the lush gardens of Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay, I knew I was in for a treat. The fragrant flowers, the tropical greenery, and the sound of the waves crashing in the distance all created a sense of calm and tranquility that I had been craving.

The resort itself was stunning, with Balinese-style villas dotted throughout the property. Each villa had its own private outdoor pool, and I was delighted to discover that mine had a view of the Indian Ocean. The villa was spacious, and the traditional Balinese decor added an authentic touch to the overall experience. The air-conditioned unit was equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV, DVD player, and a refrigerated minibar, which was perfect for keeping my drinks cool in the hot Bali weather.

The Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay is definitely quality 5-star luxury from the spa, the kids club, activities, and facilities down to the idyllic tropical garden setting which houses bars, restaurants and cafés.  Each of the rooms here has a private plunge pool and easy access to the golden beach. And you don't have to stray too far from the resort either with regular Balinese performances and activities.

This is also a bit of a foodie utopia with daily cooking classes, in the local style and a similarly delightful restaurant.

One of the highlights of my stay was the dining options available at the resort. Taman Wantilan served delicious Indonesian specialties, while Sundara offered fusion Asian delights. I particularly enjoyed the Pool Terrace Café, where I savored a variety of Asian and Western dishes while soaking up the stunning views. The 24-hour in-room dining service was also a nice touch.

The resort offered a range of recreational activities, including cooking classes, a gym, and a spa. I took advantage of the latter, indulging in some much-needed pampering during my stay. The staff at the tour desk were also helpful in arranging sightseeing tours and providing local insights.

What I loved most about the Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay was its location. The resort was situated on the edge of Jimbaran Bay, with the beach just a short stroll away. The area was known for its fresh seafood, and I couldn't resist trying some of the local seafood restaurants during my stay.

Overall, my experience at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay was incredible. The resort's attention to detail and commitment to providing an authentic Balinese experience made my stay truly unforgettable. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious, yet authentic, Bali experience.

f you are simply looking for a bit of a cliff beach resort in Bali in total luxury then the  Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay may spike your interest. Tee location is pretty exotic and little temples on the terraces that lead down to the beach keep with the traditional Balinese theme.

Overall this top quality Bali resort has a good mix of  spectacular views, a world class spa, and food out of this world.

  • The Seminyak Beach Resort & Spa (top five-star)
  • Padma Resort Legian (top rated)
  • Melia Bali - Bali All Inclusive
  • Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort (beach resort)

For travelers looking for something different, I would suggest The Mulia Bali in Nusa Dua. The Mulia Bali boasts some of the largest rooms and suites in Bali, and its location in the upscale Nusa Dua area offers a different experience from the more laid-back Jimbaran Bay. The resort is also known for its world-class spa, which offers a range of traditional Indonesian treatments.

Padma Resort Legian

My next stop was Padma Resort Legian. As soon as I arrived, I felt a sense of peace and tranquility. The gardens were beautifully maintained, and the facilities were outstanding. The deluxe villa was spacious and luxurious, and I felt pampered from the moment I arrived. Padma Resort Legian is perfect for those looking for a serene and relaxing atmosphere surrounded by stunning natural beauty.

The video is a review of the Padma Hotel located on beautiful Legian Beach in Bali. The open-air lobby is classically decorated with a mix of Balinese and modern furniture, and the reception desk offers competitive currency exchange rates. The hotel grounds are lush and green, with four swimming pools and direct beach access. The hotel also offers a club lounge experience with drinks, snacks, and a cocktail hour. Overall, the hotel is highly recommended for a relaxing vacation in Bali.

Adiwana Bisma Ubud

Adiwana Bisma Ubud was the third resort on my list, and it was one of my favorites. The resort was located in the heart of Ubud, surrounded by lush green forests and rice paddies. The staff were amazing, treating me with the nicest hospitality. The resort offered a perfect mix of luxury and cultural experience, with its traditional Balinese design and modern amenities.

Introducing Alexa, a vlogger who reviews resorts. In this video, she is reviewing the Ariwana Bisma resort. Here are the key points from the video:

  • Alexa is at the Ariwana Bisma resort and is waiting for her room to be ready. In the meantime, she decides to get a deep tissue massage at Teja Spa, the Ayurvedic spa that is tied to the Ariwana resort collection.
  • She mentions that Teja Spa provides a customized, bespoke experience. Before the massage, they ask for information about stress levels, eating habits, and sleep quality. They then use this information to choose the oils to use during the massage.
  • Alexa loves her massage and mentions that the oils used during the massage were ginger, patchouli, and orange.
  • Alexa and her friend order calamari at the resort's restaurant, Pistachio. She says that it's one of her favorite dishes and that the restaurant got it right.
  • She talks about the Ariwana resort collection and mentions that she has stayed at seven or eight of their boutique hotels. She likes that the resorts have eco-initiatives and that they offer a luxury experience at a mid-range price.
  • Alexa and her friend enjoy a floating breakfast in the pool, but it's raining. They still have fun and take drone shots of the resort.

Q and A with Sarah

If you're looking for the ultimate luxury experience in Bali, you can't go wrong with a stay at a 5-star resort. In this Q&A segment, our Bali travel expert Sarah will answer some common questions about the best 5-star resorts in Bali, from the most luxurious options to the safest areas to stay in.

Sarah had always dreamed of traveling to Bali, a place she had heard so much about from her friends and colleagues. As a freelance travel writer, Sarah had a keen sense of adventure and curiosity that drove her to explore new places and discover hidden gems.

When she finally arrived in Bali, Sarah was immediately struck by the island's stunning natural beauty. From the lush green rice terraces in Ubud to the crystal clear waters of Uluwatu's beaches, Bali was a feast for the senses.

But Sarah was also curious about the luxurious side of Bali, the part that attracted celebrities and the rich and famous. She had heard that many of them stayed in private villas in Seminyak, Uluwatu, or Jimbaran Bay, so she set out to explore these areas.

In Seminyak, Sarah was awed by the upscale vibe and trendy shops and restaurants. She visited the Villa Sungai, Villa Kudus, and Villa Anugrah, some of the most popular private villas in the area. She imagined herself lounging by the pool, sipping cocktails, and enjoying the pampering of a true luxury getaway.

In Uluwatu, Sarah felt like she had discovered a hidden gem. The beaches were secluded and pristine, the water crystal clear and perfect for swimming and surfing. She visited some of the area's most luxurious resorts, imagining herself staying in a private villa with a panoramic view of the ocean.

But it was Jimbaran Bay that stole Sarah's heart. The golden sand beaches were perfect for sunbathing and swimming, and the restaurants offered some of the island's most delicious seafood. She visited the Soori Bali resort, where the Kardashians had stayed on their trip to Bali, and imagined herself lounging in a private infinity pool overlooking the ocean.

As Sarah explored Bali, she realized that the island had something for everyone. Whether you were looking for culture and relaxation in Ubud, luxury and nightlife in Seminyak and Uluwatu, or beaches and seafood in Jimbaran Bay and Nusa Dua, Bali had it all.

And as a travel writer, Sarah knew that it was important to provide recommendations for her readers. For those looking for a luxurious and trendy experience, she would suggest staying in Seminyak, perhaps at one of the private villas she had visited. But for those looking for a beachfront paradise, she would recommend the Soori Bali resort in Jimbaran Bay.

For those who wanted something different, Sarah would suggest exploring the rice terraces in Ubud, perhaps staying at a traditional Balinese homestay or a wellness retreat. And for those who wanted a truly unique experience, she would suggest visiting the waterfalls in Munduk, where you could stay in a treehouse or a bamboo bungalow.

As Sarah packed her bags to leave Bali, she couldn't help but feel grateful for the experience. She had discovered a place that was both luxurious and down-to-earth, trendy and traditional, beachy and cultural. Bali had exceeded her expectations, and she knew she would be back one day to explore more of this stunning destination.
