Looking for a great Michigan
beachfront resort? There are some nice resorts in Michigan. Most are
not what we'd think of as traditional resorts but if you want to stay
at the beach, here are some suggestions for you.
While not a huge state, Michigan claims a lot of waterfront. In MIchigan you are never more than about ten Kilometers away from a lake whether it is a small lake or one of the Great Lakes. Michigan has access to Erie, Michigan, Huron, and Lake Superior. The total amount of coastline is enormous and comparable to about any other State in the country.
On the Map above you can see the upper and lower peninsulas of Michigan.
There are two
good resorts in Traverse city. Both
of these resorts are run by the same management and are almost in the
same location.
