Mai Tiki Resort

Mai Tiki Resort is a more unusual resort with brightly coloured cottages and a private beach. There are also condos available. There are many activities available at the resort and nearby. 

Mai Tiki Lake Huron Resort in Oscoda, Michigan  sits on the Au Sable River. The accommodations and amenities lend themselves to family vacations.  Rooms come as either condos and cottages with a sofa sleepers, fully equipped kitchens and directly face the lake.

Around the resort you can enjoy campfires, movies on the beach, and drinks at the tiki-bar.

These rooms at this Lake Huron resort all have views towards the water. The beach really is great for kids play, catching a sunset or simply for long walks. Around the resort itself you will find activities like the playscape, teeter-totter, shuffleboard, or tube floating on the Au Sable River, will keep you pleasantly occupied. Or simply sit back in a comfy chair. 

Lots of hiking opportunities exist on the River Road National Scenic Byway and in the evenings enjoy sitting by the campfire.

Thomas Parkside Lake Huron Cottages

Most of the other Oscoda Michigan resorts have more of a camping feel rather than a typical resort feel. Another choice you may be interested in is the Thomas Parkside Cottages. They have both cottages and condos on a sandy beach. It's especially good for fishing and there are a few golf courses nearby.

This resort is also only about 100 metres from Lake Huron on the sunrise side. This means you can behold the sunrise in the morning and then have a campfire at night.

Blue Horizon Court

The Blue Horizon Court has 1 and 2 bedroom cottages with kitchenettes. They also offer pinball and mini putt-putt. Single rooms are also available here.

If you are set on staying somewhere luxurious in Oscoda, your best bet is the Surfside Heights Condominiums. It's on the beach and the rooms are pretty spacious. They are a little dated but still nice. They have spa tubs and fire pits outside.
