Playa Azul Cozumel

Playa Azul is a classic boutique hotel situated right on the beach and with only 50 rooms. This is a real character filled family hotel resort where it's not unusual to find yourself getting served in style by the owners of the resort.  They say this is why they have some of the most satisfied repeat visitors of any property on the island. 

While not a dedicated all inclusive resort the property does offer all inclusive packages. Whether you are on one of these or not you will find the food is prepared fresh at the time. There is a good mix of local Mexican and Caribbean flavors and tastes. Special diets are also catered for.

Big Buffet

Unlimited golf is one of the privileges of guests here. The is you are a golfer you can enjoy unlimited green fees on the  Nicklaus inspired course. Although you will need to fork out a little for a mandatory cart.

There is generally plenty to do around the resort and the amenities are ample and up to date. There are enough beach umbrellas, cabanas and sun lounges for everyone. While there is a games room and arcade, childcare and babysitting will incur extra charges.  Up one level of the main building there is a relaxed pool table room. Wifi is included in all room rates.

The All Inclusive Plan includes all meals which take place at the buffet or a la carte. While most meals on the menu are included there are some you will need to upgrade to. Beverages include a quality selection.

Children under four years of age are not charged on this package.

There is also a the Golf & Breakfast Plan which includes a full breakfast and green fees. With this package up to 2 children under 12 are included without extra charge. Baby beds are complimentary.

If you are planning on a Cozumel dive vacation all one needs to do is stroll the few steps down to the dive shop at the beach club. Sailing, scuba, motorized water sports and the like are conveniently located close to the resort.  

The Blue Dream Cozumel Dive Shop caters for beginners to dive masters with daily trips to the reefs as well as Cenotes dives on the mainland. A couple of months in the summer there is also a dive with the sharks experience available.

Savia Spa Services

The natural beach location of the resort lends itself to spa services. The resort has put some effort into providing facilities designed to restore your "body and soul" through some of the ancient Mayan traditions. Things like deep tissue massage, Swedish massage and pedicures are also available.
