Noted for it's great skiing and fantastic views of Lake Tahoe, this resort has a lot to offer. Great ski school, snowboarding, a casino, and overall fantastic reviews from past guests. Definitely worth a good look if you want to ski in a "lovely" place.

Lake Tahoe Good for families

Squaw Valley has great skiing for experts and it's a good spot for snowboarders.

Many past guests have noted the excellent service at this resort. It has had a recent renovation so it looks excellent and has great hot tubs, a spa, an ice rink and was the site of the 1960 Olympics.

Homewood Mountain Resort
Homewood, Lake Tahoe

Known as a great smaller resort, staff are noted to be friendly and the grooming of the runs is excellent. They have a great ski school and lots of events.

Northstar at Tahoe Resort
Great for families, Groups

This resort has become very popular and is a great spot for both skiing and snowboarding.

Some areas have been updated and we recommend you request to stay there. It's a beautiful resort with some great perks - especially if you're with a group.

Alpine Meadows Ski Resort
Lake Tahoe

Noted for its great value, this resort is close to Squaw Valley. It has had some mixed reviews but

if you have kids, they have a great kids program. They have runs for all levels.

Mount Baldy Lodge
Great for romance

Located on a lower profile mountain, this lodge is a great quiet getaway.

It's noted as being great value for money but also has had some mixed reviews in the past. Just check it out and read the reviews and be sure they offer what you want.

Boreal Mountain Resort
Truckee / Lake Tahoe

If you're looking for more of a budget option, this may be a good choice. It's not luxury but it's close

to the mountain and great for the younger crowd.
