Resort highlights: 5 private beaches, award-winning European style spa, tennis courts, private, 2 pools - one indoor and one heated outdoors, poolside bar, complimentary ferry downtown, fitness center, croquet, a putting green, marina with rentals, dress code at meals. What reviewers say: serene, relaxed, location is a little remote, 5 star service, friendly staff, great rooms, pristine beaches, not brand new but welcoming and elegant, liked the traditional English style, incredible piece of property, great attention to detail. Resort highlights: 6 restaurants, 18 hole par-3 golf, tennis courts, water sports, health club, private beach, Willow Stream Spa - with daytime exclusive pool, trolley bus to beach and golf course (free), ferry to Hamilton (free), children's centre. What reviewers say: room was gorgeous, service wasn't very great, overpriced, room was spacious and spotlessly clean, professional and attentive service, not 5 star, best hotel on the island, it's the little things that are off, grounds beautifully kept. Resort highlights: historic (first built in 1885), great location, fresh and saltwater pool, full service business centre, beauty centre, continental breakfast, afternoon tea, 2 restaurants, free ferry to Fairmont Southampton for amenities there. What reviewers say: attentive and helpful staff, close to everything, not 4 star in terms of service, not worth 4 star price, beautiful grounds, needs updating (it was last renovated in 2002), great character. What reviewers say: friendly staff, excellent food, gym just ok, great beach, beach bistro is expensive, mold in older rooms, new rooms comfortable and spacious.
