Nearby there's: hiking and walking, horse riding lessons, off-road driving, a number of different golf courses (including Woodenbridge Golf Club) and more. It's recommended that you hire a car for getting around and exploring.

There are 54 country style guestrooms featuring old fashioned wood furnishings, deep bathtubs and window seats.

Reviewers note that the setting is beautiful, you should "just go there", it's beautifully decorated and the spa is fantastic. A few have said that it's overpriced and there are some complaints about service (but some love the service).
