Located on the white sand beaches between Mission Bay and La Jolla. A wooden staircase leads to the boardwalk and beach. Sea World is five miles away and Old Town about the same.

Not a resort but a great hotel, Tower23 is a sophisticated trendy hotel three miles from La Jolla. Close to where surf competitions are.
Amenities: Minimal design, near nightlife, has a Zen garden, cocktail service on the terrace, fire pit, wireless high speed Internet down to the beach, a business center, and a coffee shop.
There are 38 guestrooms and "Surf Pads" that have private balconies.
Reviews: Seems guests really dig this hip new funky hotel. Nearly all reviews are outstanding and guests really appreciated the fresh modern approach. Looks better than the pics.
