Mt Baker Ski Resort

Mt Baker ski resort is located in Glacier, Whatcom County, Washington. One special thing about it is that it has the highest annual snow fall in the entire world. If you like a lot of snow, this is the place for you!

It is a known as a challenging ski area with it's numerous inbound runs as well as some great back country ski runs.

Where to stay:

There aren't too many places to stay in this small area but one spot has overall excellent reviews and that is Canyon Creek Chalets. It is within 5 miles of the Mt Baker ski area, reasonably priced and has wonderful views and staff. If you can get a spot here, we highly recommend it.

Another place to try is the Glacier Creek Motel and Cabins. It is a bit older but clean. Past guests haven't rated to motel area well so if you stay here, try to stay in a cabin.
