Resort is a good resort to get away from it all. Overall a great
place for the beach and sun lovers. However, you need to remember to bring a few items of food for when the restaurant is closed. This place is a little way from town.
There are three resorts in this chain but this is a little less expensive and the beaches are a little better. That is why it gets our vote. Location: This resort is on the beach at Puerto Penasco at Rocky Point Sea of Cortez. The road there is a little bumpy and gravel. This an historic little fishing village that is gaining more facilities. Amenities: There is a club house, swimming pools, beachfront jacuzzis, a multi- purpose court, outdoor fire pits, a full service spa, fitness center, restaurant, activity rentals - jet skis - $50 to $75 an hour. Bring some movies to watch on the DVD players. Rooms: Linens, kitchens ( fully stocked), dishwasher, stove, microwave, and washer and dryer. All have private balconies overlooking the ocean. You can actually see the white sand from your kitchen.

Open Sun-Thurs 4pm-10pm/Fri-Sat 11am-10pm/Sun Closed Reviews: The reviews mostly reiterate the need to bring food. Also, they recommend hiring a 4x4 because of the gravel roads.
