Other reviewers said it is perfect if you're looking for an out of the way historic Tuscan property. It's very relaxing and an old village taken completely over by the hotel. There are some fantastic restaurants a short drive away.
There are 2 dining options: La Colonna is a modern, rustic-style restaurant serving traditional Tuscan dishes. L'Orto delle Monache is a seasonal restaurant serving light snacks and grilled meats and fish. The 25 guestrooms feature modern Tuscan decor with terracotta-tiled floors and wooden beams. All include air conditioning, satellite television with pay movies, wireless Internet access and desks. Bathrooms are complete with bathrobes, slippers and hair dryers. Reviewers say that it's a treasure that's still undiscovered. They pay great attention to detail, the restaurant is fantastic and it's a true 5 star experience.
 There's a swimming pool with a large solarium, a tennis court and a garden perfect for relaxation. The restaurant "Il convito di Curina" uses fine ingredients and is perfect for wine-lovers. Stables are 15 km away while golf is 9 km away. The rooms and suites have authentic antiques as well as reproductions and traditional fabrics. They have the modern conveniences of air conditioning, a fridge, safe and TV. Reviewers say it's very clean, has beautiful views, staff are welcoming and helpful, had a huge bathtub (which may be hard to find in Italy), it's peaceful and one person said it felt like a hunting lodge (in a good way).
